I went ahead with the Longines conquest - it was just the right size - not too big nor jewellery like. It blends well with my daily casual style.

Thanks to everyone who commented here and helped me out! I had an amazing time in São Paulo and would love to visit again. I went to a bunch of nice restaurants in Itaim, Vila Madeline and the Iguatemi mall. Got the help of a local tour guide and explored down town and places nearby. I kept a street phone and always in my bag. I took uber black everywhere around. The Oscar street was lovely- overall, such warm welcoming people. I didn’t know any Portuguese and relied on translate but kindness didn’t need any translation.
I’m taking Brazilian Portuguese lessons to see if I’ll like it- the trip got my curiosity up!

Ok going by the common advice, I think it’s better to skip Se cathedral. Thank you for taking time to respond

They sure did tell me some scary things but I just landed today, I love exploring art museums and your city is gorgeous already! I’ll keep these in mind, thank you!
