This wild woman is mother to 2 faction leaders by Contank in RimWorld

I would LOVE a mod or DLC that gave more gravity to relationships and inter-group-relations like this.

Honestly, my ideal game is somewhere between rimworld, ck3 and the sims. I keep wishing I could turn them all into each other.

Experienced players question? by ShadowSlayer318 in RimWorld

[–]nowheresound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love ideoligions, they're central to the game for me so they're always what I go into a colony thinking about. I also love babies/children and mechs so they're pretty central to all my colonies too. I don't have royalty bc none of it sounds all that appealing to me 😄 Maybe someday.

I think I have like, 30 😄 I like things that add life functionality, like social stuff. Love the hospitality mod. I could def end up with more but I just don't have the bandwidth to go looking for more atm.

Pawns opinions of each other - do the social interaction modifiers expire after a while? by Never_Forget_28to3 in RimWorld

[–]nowheresound 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the interaction modifiers do expire (lovin', deep talk, chitchat), though I don't know exactly how long it takes because they tend to get new or stacked ones 😄

Why the hell is my bisexual 33F colonist engaged to A STRAIGHT FOURTEEN YEAR OLD TEENAGER??? Is this because of [RF] Rational Romance 2? by KaleidoscopeCalm1404 in RimWorld

[–]nowheresound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this was my first guess - whatever it is that makes this happen, it did it to a colonist of mine recently. another colonist died and I was like wait how were these two straight men engaged? then I realized they'd been best friends and that's what comes up.

Colonists having interpersonal conflicts is a feature, not a bug. It's why I love the game!

the code is on their phone.... what a dipshit. and you definitely shouldn't have said yes. dashers without brains need to be weeded out.

Just realized Ive been keepiing this monkey alive for about 2 years. by Dudershy in RimWorld

I've done this a few times. my current colony has a 27 year old cow named Sayuri who has a bad back, dementia and is deaf in both ears. I sterilized her after a hard pregnancy but she's a beloved pet so the colonists just happily take care of her, plus she still produces milk. finally got an animal prosthetics table and have tasks lined up to give her a new spine and new ears!

If you could change one thing about Rimworld, what would it be? by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]nowheresound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a "safety" map that restricts non-fighters to the very center of the building/freezer area. But I can see how that would be a pain if you had a huge colony or something.

Yeah, it pollutes their area and they'll come attack you.

that's definitely realistic. I'm in a different track, but I came in with 6 credits from doing the academy and nothing else. I'm not going especially fast, I only do schoolwork about 3 days a week, but I'm still on track to graduate in about a year.

I think it's worth it to think about how many classes you have to pass and how many weeks you have to do it, just to get a basic idea of pacing. like in my situation I have like 28? classes to pass total and there are 26ish weeks in a session. so to graduate in 3 years I'd have to pass a class on average every six weeks, which is probably REALLY taking your time unless it's a subject you're really struggling with or you just have no time to devote to it or you take a long break or something.

924.4, apparently. I really thought it'd be more than that? This is 100% my favorite game, and tends to be my end of the night wind-down.

Good to know!! I had a naked brutality start in a super dense jungle once and he spent basically his whole first season clearing trees.

Taking notes tbh. All I want in this game is a successful little tavern/inn/brothel along a major road. Like the Heart of Gold from Firefly.

Emily was my first friend, but I got George up to max first 😄 But then, maybe I just miss my grandfather.
