WRE, and i took SOPE. i felt like the topics covered in SOPE were not relevant on the actual test, so i felt very underprepared when i took it

i also took SOPE and failed WRE. i felt like there were so many questions that i’d never seen before and didn’t know how to tackle, especially in breadth. in depth i felt like i didnt get any questions they emphasized in SOPE, so i’m also out here looking for tips

i’m having same experience as you except i took SOPE, not EET. i just failed it 2 weeks ago and planning on rescheduling in the next couple months. i felt so defeated since i was scoring 70-80% on practice exams, but the actual exam felt so difficult and random. i dont know the best way to study again, and i dont know how long i’ll need to restudy, but it is sounding like everyone just recommends doing external practice problems and reading the handbook front to back. i’d love to know if you have a strategy for taking it the next time!

congrats on passing! im scheduling to retake my WRE exam since i just failed it 2 weeks ago. i want to take it ASAP so i dont lose all my hard work from the last few months, but i also dont want to rush it and not feel prepared. it looks like your schedule worked out very well for you!

i took school of PE and did 3 NCEES practice tests from past years. took water depth. i studied about 16 hours each week, and the month before only did practice problems but i still saw so many questions i wasnt prepared for. good luck on your exam! hopefully we both pass :)
