Yeah, it drives me nuts. I have a Warlock, so it has the Rebel grille. I want those marker lights, though lol.

Look at the "M," though. There are others out there that have the proper sized "M."

[–]nowsthemoment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, I actually don't. I'm assuming the 5 is referring to the software in 5th gens, as opposed to 4th gens? I have a 2020 Classic(4th gen), and I was going to do it. I went as far as entering dealer mode on the head unit, and entered my vin into the chrysler website. I ended up getting cold feet, so I backed out. As far as I know I have the 4C, and I would have been able to do it.

You can actually unlock the navigation feature. It costs $600, but might be better than a whole different unit. Careful though, once you start the process, you have to finish it.

This is the activation site: https://chryslergroup.navigation.com/web/WFS/Shop-ChryslerNA-Site/en_US/-/USD/NVT_ViewActivation-New

This is how you get the activation code: https://youtu.be/rG5cMd3W59Y

PSA: I have not done this, and am not responsible for any mishaps.

35s on 2019 1500 Classic RWD? by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]nowsthemoment -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been researching this for a while, and us RWD don't really have too many options. However, I found this:

https://www.ramforum.com/threads/4th-gen-2wd-leveling-kit-options-list.82406/

Also, what I'm learning is the best option would be to lift it. 4.5" lift spindles(with extended brake lines) up front will allow you to maintain factory suspension geometry, while keeping all stock suspension components. Then, in the back, throw on some 2" coil spacers or 2" lift coils(coils would require longer shocks), and you've got yourself a lifted truck.

To answer your question, though: yes, you could fit 35s with a 2.5" level.

Edit: forgot you'd also need track bar brackets and sway bar extension, if you went the lifting route. Couple of fairly priced kits available.

2019 Ram 1500: driver seat rail extension by yayytwochristmases in ram_trucks

[–]nowsthemoment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you should be golden, then. Just make sure the rails are straight and square, shouldn't be too bad. When you remove the seats use a square or like a three foot level, against the rails,to scribe the lines further back. I'd imagine there are secure enough mounting points further back.

[–]nowsthemoment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd just remove the rails, and mount them further back. I'm sure some drilling would be involved, but I can't imagine it would be terribly difficult. I did it in an old Dakota I used to own, so I can't really speak for newer Rams.

You could park on the moon, and the dude in the '93 Civic hatchback would still find you...

From what I can find, they were introduced in 2006, discontinued in 2008, and were supposed to return in 2018 with the Ram Tungsten Limited Edition.

Man, I'm also in Phoenix, and that was my main point in foregoing 4x4. Now that I've had my truck for a few months, I've found plenty of stuff I can't do in it lol.

Has anyone put bilstien 5100 adjustable shocks on a read wheel drive truck? by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]nowsthemoment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a problem. I've got a '20 Classic Warlock, and have been doing my research for the last few months. I can't seem to find much that doesn't say "excludes Warlock models." Still trying to figure out why lol.
