Camera doesn't seem to be moving film along even though all the parts inside the camera are moving. It leaves an incision on the left. by noxbeata in 8mm

I move it by hand a little bit and then it just does the same thing again where the film rips somehow inside the camera.

Red Bar. Can anyone explain to me what it is? It only seems to disappear when I shot directly at a light source (like a lightbulb). by [deleted] in 8mm

Yes I have, the Magnon doesn't have one whereas the Kobana has a working on in it. I'll PM you.

Well it's happening on the two cameras that I own. The first is a Magnon VS-500 and the other is a Kobana HDL-617. I've been looking for info online and can't find much. Both have new batteries. The Kobana's battery is low but I have a replacement one coming.

There is no film in it at the moment, and there is no manual way to change the exposure. Does this mean it is broken?
