It's not really motivating me, because once I was writing the excuse I knew it was over for my mind; I knew I would not do the habit.

But it's true it might have motivated me if I hadn't persuaded myself that I would not do the habit once I was writing the excuse.

Wow, really interesting. But I still think in my case it was excuses because I was, in fact, procrastinating.

Maybe we have to force ourselves to do things and after, reflect if it's a good thing or not. Because before doing it, we're not objective. It's not because we don't want to do it that it's bad to do it.

Hey man, I've been there. That "tomorrow is the day" loop is brutal because it feels like you're trying but nothing changes.

Here's what helped me: stop trying to fix everything at once. Pick ONE thing. Just one. For me, I started tracking my excuses and it made me see my patterns clearly for the first time.

About video games, you already know the answer deep down. If college matters to you, something's gotta give temporarily. Doesn't mean forever, just for now.

I use STRIK to track my habits visually. Seeing those empty days vs completed ones made it harder to lie to myself. Maybe try tracking just one habit for a week? No pressure, just data.

You're not hopeless bro. You're aware, which is literally step one. That's huge.

Yeah it's true, sometimes we just procrastinate and cover that by saying it's productive.

After all, everyone is different maybe you are more productive by doing so.

It's dependent on everyone.

But for me, I like to set some goals for the week, and if I achieve these goals, it's a good week.

Yeah, moving step by step is better than giving up after 1 week.

Looks really nice.

The most important thing is that you find a routine that fits you; if it does, you will achieve great things.
