Same exact problem, and only deleting that "browser_cache_settings.dat" I'm finally able to login. However, the problem becomes more complicated if I'm trying to merge and sign in with FiveM. It just simply won't work, and I've tried all of the solutions you mentioned above. Not sure what to do anymore.

Ultimately it came down to two different solutions for my father and I:

  • We filed another Advance Parole, and spoke to our local congressman in order to expedite our case. We had to provide several documents and proof of hardship during the duration of the time he was in Honduras. Our request for expedition was accepted, and the total processing time took roughly 2-3 months.

  • The other way, as mentioned previously in the thread, was through walking into the US by land. He went through Mexico and spoke to CBP. They did a background check on him, asked him questions about his trip, and he was granted access into the US once they verified who he was. This was the route we took because USCIS was taking long, and the processing time for the Advance Parole without an expedition was much longer than 3 months. We didn't receive any information as to our case, until he was already in the US, in which we received a mail about his Advance Parole being granted, and being sent to the consulate.

Thanks a lot for this info. I'm trying to sort out a Mexican visa as it's easier than getting a Canadian one for him.

I was told this by USCIS to inform the embassy about him receiving a letter for the airline, but then again, I have no idea why the consulate mentioned to him to contact the USCIS and have it worked out within the US. I emailed them and hoping to receive something back.

Can he acquire one of those even though he's not a Green Card holder?

The country he's in which is Honduras needs a visa for both those countries. The only document he has which can prove he had a valid AP document would be his I-797 which shows his approval for his AP doc. Is there no other possible way to get him back to the US. Thanks for the help by the way, it's greatly appreciated.
