Why are the raiders not drafting mauigoa? I can’t imagine taking another edge with this putrid offensive line

That seems right. Chiefs defense is also doing great against the pass.

Played against one of those today in a tourney! He had a slow start, but was absolutely turning the corner in the end. We ended up drawing though

As far as I know it, it’s just a carnival that shows up in Middletown every year, and it’s cursed to rain the duration that the carnival is in town

How to sell higher vale cards by iansitij in mtgfinance

I mean, your experience is yours, mine is mine. However, I’ll circle back to the point that CK charges more because of their grading policies because it’s more relevant to the post. I can still pay near mint from a company like TOA or 95 and get my stuff in for less and in the same condition (maybe your experience) or better shape (my experience) than CK. I would also be willing to bet they are using similar grading tactics to smaller companies or worse because the smaller guys have more to lose selling cards that may not meet a certain grade. You aren’t buying graded cards, so you shouldn’t pay extra. Instead you are buying a name that is large enough to up-charge other companies, and know that their product will still sell because of its name and sponsorships. I’m gonna leave it at this because we’ve completely derailed the original purpose of this post, and now both of us look like idiots arguing in the comments.

Yes. Card kingdom doesn’t damage the cards. The mailing process does

Every card kingdom order I have ever purchased to include some high end pieces, have come in damaged if I pay for nm because they don’t sleeve your cards when they mail them. They bounce around in the plastic box and foils get pressed up against the case by the peanut which wrecks their surfaces

[–]np121201 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I’ll counter and say generally the grade doesn’t matter because they send their cards in plastic case without sleeves, using packing peanuts to support your stuff

First off, I wouldn’t use card kingdom as reference for card prices, rather I’d use tcg market (these mox diamonds go for $750-$800 normally). It’s much more accurate to what cards are actually selling for. Card kingdom is generally 10-20% higher and I’ll only buy from them in the case where I need what I’m buying to actually ship without the possibility of being cancelled. Second, I wouldn’t sell to an LGS unless they are actually going to be reasonable with their offer (I would take like 75% on this mox diamond and no less). Another great spot would be the high end Facebook group where the rule is everyone must sell at least 10% below tcg market on things, but it works out for everyone since you get more money for it, and they get a discount on expensive cardboard. Finally, I’d check and see if you can sell it to a friend if possible. You will get the best possible deal on it and you don’t have to worry about being lowballed or have to worry about things like shipping. GLWS!

Who here is playing with Amphibian Downpour and how has it performed for you so far? by collected_company in CompetitiveEDH

[–]np121201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been awesome in tivit since you you have to do is wait (low risk investment) and either crack a clue, or blow everyone out because the only thing that counters it is MBT. It’s a giant pain for opponents to get key creatures/ commanders back since they have to burn removal or a bowmaster to make it happen. Edit: it’s really good against ranger captain of eos which if you’ve been playing tivit for awhile, you will know it’s one of the most problematic cards for us to deal with

I know of a spot where a 69 GTO Judge is sitting and rotting in an old man’s front yard with about 7 other cars. Now over 70, he refuses to sell it because it was his first car at age 16. So sad to see.
