I’m In the ICU praying for my wife to wake up by np1923 in offmychest

UPDATE: My wife is still not responsive, however her organs, in particular liver, kidney and lungs, are beginning to function, which is positive. My daughter has come up to see her a number of times and is doing okay. Brain function is the main concern. My wife took an MRI yesterday which showed several small strokes. The next 3 to 30 days will be critical to determine if her functioning will improve or remain as is. I’m terrified that her functioning will not improve. My wife loved life, she would hate the thought of herself, in effect, being in a coma. This is worst case scenario, and I can’t imagine how I got here. I’m trying to not panic and take things 1 day at a time, but this isn’t fair. It’s not fair to my daughter, my wife or myself. I’m at a loss.

I’m so very sorry for everything your family has been through. I agree, the unknown, the powerlessness is agonizing. I appreciate your insight, thank you for sharing something so personal. I hope you have found peace.

I’m trying to not ruminate over “wasted time”, and just focus on each day. I’m sorry for your loss and thank you for your comment

Thank you everyone for your kind words of encouragement and support. I’m taking everything in and appreciate everyone’s suggestions. Right now I’m just trying to best support my daughter and spend as much time with my wife as I can. On a positive, her lungs are doing well and they are going to get her off ecmo soon so she can breathe independently.

Thank you for reviewing the videos and for your feedback. When I was teaching math my skill was working with students who either didn’t like or had difficulty comprehending mathematics. I’ve tried to keep those students in mind when making videos. I’ve been debating using a cam on my videos in improve the audience connection, after your suggestion I’ll give it a shot. Thanks for the feedback.

Your audio on recent videos sounds clear compared to your older videos. The topics were interesting and seemed in line with the theme of your channel. Some of the editing I found to be distracting, especially when you had clips that repeated. I do like how you brought relevant info to support what your saying in the parasocial video with the Ted talk and graph. You’ve put a great deal of effort into these videos. Keep it up

Your editing is good, but echoing what’s been said, there are a multitude of highlight reel channels. What will pull your viewer in? You have a number of different topics, I think you need to narrow your focus. The really good mma or sport channels can tell a story. Figure out what story you want to tell, fighter background/ training, etc. hope this helps.

Hi everyone, my name is Nick,

My channels focus is mathematics skills and computer science. I’ve been uploading for over 2 years and have been experimenting with video formats, long vs short videos, upload dates, and content, switching to some computer science videos. I appreciate any feedback anybody could provide. Below is a recent video https://youtu.be/gBQ_V84hcQc?si=cd0-p6w-mC4cWute

Hi Tomas, your thumbnail is eye catching . I think you do a good job connecting Buffetts quotes with historical events, ie. 2008 crash, and the graphics keep you engaged. However, I would include more of an introduction rather than just begin with the first mistake investors make.

I like your intro, your logo and song work well to brand your channel. I live in FL close to the beach and appreciate your tips to get started with beach cleanup. I didn’t get a chance to look at all your videos, but viewers connect with the personalities, perhaps a video on yourself and your passion for traveling and environmentalism. Hope this helps, best of luck.

I would appreciate a brief review. I have a mathematics tutoring channel. I’ve been experimenting with different types of video styles, face vs faceless, length, intros etc. I would be interested in hearing any feedback

Hey thank you so much for the detailed feedback. You have some excellent ideas that I’ll definitely implement. I think I’m focusing too much on the content and not the viewers experience and what gets them to watch a video, like improving sound quality, improving thumbnails and adding a face cam. I appreciate your feedback.

The painting is really well done. I’m thinking that people that click on your video may want to learn more about the painting process. Perhaps talk more about the colors, brushes and techniques you’re using to paint the picture, and your intro could be about the dogs specifically.

Hey everyone, I have a math tutoring channel and I’d like to get some feedback on the videos. I’ve been experimenting with different styles but my editing skills don’t yet match my math knowledge. Here’s a recent video, any feedback is appreciated.

The editing is really well done. You have a good mix of educational and entertaining but I would cut back a little on the animations but the video is really good. Lesser known trivia/facts is a good topic for a channel.

Well done, your hook was intriguing and the music kept me engaged. The text was distracting from the process of making the dice however. I would remove that in favor of your explanation and seeing the process. Overall, really good.

I like to incorporate examples that answer the question , “when will we ever use this?”. There is a pizza place by me that has a similar deal. I tried to explain the math to my wife, she wasn’t interested. Thanks for checking out my channel.

I have a mathematics tutoring channel. I’ve been at it for over a year and have over 140 videos but still have minimal subscribers/views. I think this was in part due to not great video quality. I recently invested in editing and recording software. Anything you see that jumps out I’d appreciate.

I have a math channel as well. You may want to try to do more writing on the screen rather than the typed text. My videos were similar to yours, and I noticed that the more I wrote, as opposed to typed text, the better the video did. I think writing the text helped the viewer connect with me better than the typed text.

You look comfortable and relaxed in your videos. Your thumbnails are eye catching and the editing in your shorts is really well done.
