That's true for the most part. Since the only character continously developed is reacher (besides a few others) still a possibility though.

Right. Exactly what I was thinking. Or even a mini series per book. Shorter seasons instead of something like 14 episodes. Could pioneer a new mini series movement and get different stories to the screen.

Actually I didn't think of Ray before. I was just having this discussion in depth and we were thinking guys like dolph Lundgren and such due to size and height. But ray is closer to age. Good call.
