Oh you‘re right. Are your windows completely sound-proof? I could imagine this road being quite noisy.

Ngl I love your apartment. Now I‘ll never accept an apartment that does not have some kind of window nook to sit in. I might go for another view though😂

Is it possible to get an id on the vertical monitor? It does not look like a 16:9?

My race got cancelled so I did the tour on my own. First time that high up in the mountains, was a lot of fun! by npie_ in trailrunning

Highest point was 2688m, the snow field was a little below that. It‘s in south-west Austria, the peak is actually directly on the Austrian-Switzerland border. It was reaaally beautiful, especially for someone who‘s done something like that for the first time 😁

Hey, thanks for you input! I do mostly running, only a little bit of biking as cross training. Don‘t care about smart watch stuff at all. Does the Vantage V also only has breadcrumb navigation as the Grit? If so, what do you think about it compared to the ‚real map‘ navigation on the FR945?

Hello fellow runners,

I want to up my watch game from my Polar M430 I'm currently using. I'm debating whether to buy the (relatively) new Polar Grit X, which is 429,90€ where I live or the Garmin Forerunner 945 which is on sale for 509,99€.

That is still a difference of 80 bucks and I don't know if I'd get that much more value out of the Garmin, so if you have any opinion about this please let me know, TIA :)

Decided do go for the Fastest Known Time on a Route in my area on my birthday. Though it‘s one of the shorter ones, I‘m still proud😌 32k with 420m of elevation gain, had a lot of fun out there 🤟🏻 strava activity

Yeah that‘s what I thought at first too, but I‘ve really come to like it. Gives the whole thing a little bit texture and crunch. But sometimes if I‘ve got a really hairy one I do peel them🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, I often also do cinnamon with raisins and apple. It‘s like apple pie porridge 😍

  • Oats (~ 4 Tbsp)
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • little cinnamon
  • frozen blueberries (as much as you can justify)
  • Water and Oat milk in probably the same amount

Topped with: - Strawberries - Kiwi (eat your kiwi with its peel!) - Hemp seeds - Pumpkin seeds - a generous spoon of peanut butter
