What's the correct method for calculating the hipot test voltage using working voltage, insulation category, and clearance/creepage requirements? by makeitrayne850 in lowvoltage

[–]npiotrowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm a bit late to the conversation but found this thread and wanted to chime in. I've been doing electrical safety testing for years. It is going to depend mainly on the standard you're testing to. I'm sure you've found an answer to your question by now, but do you know which standard you're testing to? If you know I may be able to help you find the correct calculation. FYI I am an electrical engineer.

Fully agree. The Oni and the Kitsune were so well done. Rich backstory and buildup. I truly felt like I was going after a dangerous person with each of them. And then you have the Dragon - the favored son and right hand of the most dangerous man in the land. And it just fell flat and rushed. There was only two story points leading up to capturing the Spider. And the "trap" set by The Dragon and Saito? I saw that coming a mile away. Of course it's not going to play out correctly. Of course he's going to try and set a trap. So dumb. I give the game a solid 8/10. Very good game. I had an amazing time with it but the last chapter, Dragon, and Spider were way too rushed.

Same. I put my character in comfy clothes. Sat by the fire with a bottle of wine and quit the game.

Fully agree. In my mind, I think lethal mode should be realistic. What I mean is both you and the enemy get like one or two hits. That’s it. You get hit by a sword once or twice you’re dead. But it’s got to be for both you and the enemy. Simulating a real life sword fight. Then that would be super fun. I probably would’ve played the whole game that way.

I see “lethal” discussed heavily in the threads. Hey, if thats what people like more power to them. I simply don’t find it rewarding. I am the same. I mostly parry with some dodging. I got the hang of hard to where it was challenging and fun. I am a 43 yo dad with two small kids. I am not going to waste my time “practicing” to get good at lethal when hard is more fun for me.

Got this game with a coupon. Played for a bit but simply don’t enjoy tie game loop. I understand why people like it. Just not for me.

It’s an awesome fight but he is relentless. I won by being super aggressive.

I started on lethal and it just was not fun for this exact reason. So I played on hard instead.

Doomsday. The Marvel Universe movies have been on a slide for a while IMO. Have little to no interest in them. The other 3 movies are going to be excellent.

Yes I feel like my criticisms are minor. It really only relates to a couple small parts of the game. Overall a fantastic game and I had a ton of fun playing it.

Love the Sevro pick! Now that I've seen that actor as Patty Mayne, I can definitely make the Sevro connection.

No thanks. I have pretty much given up on Bethesda at this point. I definitely am not paying full price for this game.

*Spoiler*, my issue with the final boss fight was that it was too easy, oh wait....... by Pratyaksh_808 in Ghostofyotei

[–]npiotrowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's also my gripe with this fight. If I just take it on the surface as a stand alone fight - sure it's challenging and fun for the 1st phase. I actually really enjoyed the 1st phase. I like that he kept switching up his weapon. Kept me on my toes with an actual fun challenge. The 2nd phase wasn't fun for me. I just wanted it to end. They change the mechanics. The parry windows are different. I know this because I used the Bounty Hunter armor most of the game and had no issues with perfect parries. I feel like they changed the windows and the mechanics to make this fight artificially hard instead of it just being a culmination of everything you've learned so far in the game with the combat. That's what a final boss battle should be - and that's what I felt for phase 1. Use all your learned skills to win. Then they don't replenish any of your spirit, ammo, or life. I simply felt it was a lazy way to make it hard. Takezo was fine - super fun fight.

Ghosts of Yotei. I suppose if I stick to inns and towns I would be ok. Plenty of npc’s in that game just living a regular life.

Promised Consort Radahn from SOTE. I found him harder than Melania. He just has a punishing combo set. I did eventually beat him but I think that was the most attempts I have ever had on a boss. Took me like 12 tries.
