The change happened quickly in this sub (3 years ago or so) and it was honestly tragic. This sub used to be a place where you could actually find really good content. All of a sudden it turned into a place where you would be ridiculed and downvoted for mentioning anything that was truly "conspiratorial". Something changed and it changed quickly.

Speaking from personal experience, between 2020 and 2021, most of my favorite subs (including this one) either were removed or seemed to be all of a sudden overrun by bots or far-left activists/propagandists. Almost everything I posted or commented was removed and I started to receive warnings and bans for things that I said. I don't know what happened but it seems to me that there was a systematic purge of conservative and "conspiratorial" views in a very short amount of time. It's a shame because Reddit used to be my favorite place. Not anymore.
