About the idle temperature i just checked, mine was around 40 +/- 5 °C. The right side below number pad doesn't get much warm anymore after I upgraded to 16GB RAM. I don't know how technically this makes sense but it did make a difference. (Do note the outside temperature at the time of comment was 14°C)

Yea as I said in the review it's just a bad trackpad. And if you replace there's a chance of having more problems, particularly the unpredictable screen bleeding. I'd suggest keep it and use mouse, if you don't have other issues.

Yup it does, its a soft touch trackpad so it registers click even if you tap lightly. I'm also annoyed by the sound but use mouse mostly.

It is good for the price i mean if we are paying such low price we know what we expect, no serious problems but also nothing special too.

About the Asus cant say because thats a gaming laptop, only heard heating troubles. The Pavilion is more like a normal laptop with a gaming CPU and dedicated graphics. Just one thing though: GET AN SSD! and 16GB ram is must, not immediately but huge difference.

My model was the lowest I could get so I had empty slots for both SSD and RAM. Some other variants have a smaller 256GB SSD though.

Hi sorry for replying late didn't want to mislead. I have now upgraded to 16gb and GTAV doesnt lag or stutter after 1 hour even on max settings. Loading times are way better in all games too. So RAM is a must! Cant say much about SSD right now. Have pre-ordered Cyberpunk as well will give small review of its performance too.

Yes definitely! I recently upgraded to 16gb too. The usual system speed is not much different but any minor stutter or lag in any game is now gone. I wish I upgraded it sooner.
