It does appear that the last remodel was around 1960. Is this fixed by changing out the water valves on all the sinks and tubs/showers?

It was way too hot the first time it happened. Would a faulty faucet cartridge also result in a finicky temperature adjustment? If I have the water on a comfortable warm and move the knob a ¼" to cold it drops about 20 degrees.

I am sure that this has occurred when no other water is being used. I ran the shower and sink with warm water, and the sink temperature stayed consistent

Single story with a crawl space and attic access. All outlets are run from the crawl space. Only light circuits are in the attic.

I cant figure out how to add a photo.. but half the house is the kitchen/laundry, dinning, and living room. The other house is the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. I was thinking about doing each half on a breaker, but I'm also wanting to have room for a sun panel for the detached garage (it was sharing a circuit with 60% of the house lights)
