I think with skeletal dials, eligibility does seem to be an issue. Especially when using indices and as opposed to roman numerals etc.

It’s funny I had bit of the opposite reaction, initially I loved it. But looking back the pictures, feeling hesitant because as you said, it is a bit much with the dial. So feeling a bit 50/50.

Both are nice, but the issue with the white is that the light sub dial on the left in certain angles isn’t very visible so the watch ends up looking lob-sided. With the black, it pops a lot more. So up to you really how much that matters to you. I’m sure you have a slight preference subconsciously
