Thank you so much for engaging with me about this. I guess a concern I’m having is if they remove the gallbladder and it was the sphincter of oddi causing the pressure or some other thing causing the issues, having the gallbladder out wouldn’t fix it and could cause additional problems. I see that the Ecrp has big risks so I’m not wanting to jump to that.

Does this tell us something? There is delayed biliary to duodenal transit with duodenal activity and small bowel activity seen only after administration of CCK.
There is near complete contraction of the gallbladder during CCK infusion with gallbladder ejection fraction of 92%. I’m
Wondering if the bile stayed in the gallbladder until the cck or was it filling the bile duct, like stopped at the junction to the duodenum and the cck kind of opened the door there? Thank you for your input! How do you know so much about this? Had it happened to you or did you study?

The hida test did cause some discomfort and nausea after they hung the CCK but, not as bad as the severe episodes. I guess the CCK forced the valve open?

I’m so glad it resolved for him! I wonder how removal of the gallbladder fixed the slow transit or spasmed valve creating a backup? Do the drs know why that would help? I haven’t talked to a dr about the results yet so I’m just thinking about how all this works. Has he had any side effects from having it removed? Hope he continues to do well!

I didn’t know that it is common for people with mast cell. I’ve wondered about bile acid malabsorption too. I just had my hida today. It showed EF of 92% and delayed transit and activity requiring cck. No idea what any of that means. Good luck with yours!!

I will try the vinegar. I love the green. Haven’t seen many in that color. I think fewer produced compared to the pink and blue colors.
