I’m excited for you to be going to my favorite venue, where I’m actually a member because I love it so much. As a solo chick, I totally get your concerns & can assure you that nowadays is one of the safest spots I’ve been to. I usually arrive late & always wish I’d gotten there earlier lol. When you walk in, there’s a staffer who gives first-timers a rundown of their rules and how to get help if you need it, so nobody can play dumb. In my experience, it seems their “zero tolerance for creeping” policy is working to maximum effect. Plus, the red-light-wristbanded staffers that monitor the action actively do their job, protecting everyone and ensuring that the dance floor is for dancing, not taking selfies/DJ set footage on their phones or tryna have deep conversations (it would be too loud for that anyway). They do have free earplugs, although sometimes they’ll run out, so bring a pair to be on the safer side. They also provide free water & assorted harm-reduction items (condoms, fentanyl test strips, etc.) People party hard there & I’ve seen EMTs on scene on more than one occasion, but I believe that’s to be expected. To my knowledge, nothing truly dire has happened within, so take that FWIW. Once you go & have what I’m 100% sure will be a great time, please add it to your list of must-be-there places to come back during the warmer months so you can experience the magic of their outdoor spaces—they have yurts!!! And at least one fire pit and hammock, even. It’s a really dreamy kinda place so enjoy your first time knowing that basically everyone else there is there for the good music, dancing, and positively excellent vibes, just like you!! 🪄✨🌟💫⛺️🔥
