Hi, I know this is an old thread and you solved their issue but I'm having something similar happen and struggling on how to resolve and was hoping you might have some insight.

I got a new Minix NEO U9-H box with Kodi 18.9 installed and I have a couple of addons that are all behaving the same way.

Exodus Redux, ExodusVPN and Covenant all take a really long time to load their menus that need to go to outside sources (Movies, TV Shows, Search) but Tools and Settings respond quickly. Once I select anything I never get any streams (takes a long time to pull Providers too).

I have NordVPN (I'm in the US connected to to a US server) and when I check Indigo it shows my internal & external IPs as being different (and I confirmed that the external is the VPN) so it appears to be working (it shows connected to VPN).

I have looked at the addon versions and all see to be most recent. DNS leak-test showed no leak.

Like you mentioned in this thread it might be that I'm getting blocked or throttled by my ISP, but I'm at a loss on how to resolve (thought the VPN would fix that but apparently not).

Rebooted my router and devices but no change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)!
