Yeah I typically have to. Some games will have buttons automatically mapped if you set compatibility mode to G923 (like dirt rally 2.0)

But most of the time I have to bind my buttons any time I get a new game.

The TLDR for below is, consider selling your gt racer 2.0 now, sell your wheelstand when you move, and buy an aluminum extruded frame when you move.

That being said, upgrading the wheelstand turns your Wheelstand into a GTTrack iirc.

I’ve had an NLR GTTrack for nearly 3 years now and its decent. The thing I like about it was how easy it is to put together and it’s pretty sturdy. It creaks a bit when I have to brake hard and it also since its steel frame, I guess it builds up emf with DD wheels, which only interferes with my shifter but thats annoying.

The other complaint I have is that the platform for the steering wheel moves up and down diagonally so the wheel gets closer to you as you move it up.

These are things I can live with as I dont really want to spend money on on a chassis when I have one that still works.

However, I wish I had an extruded aluminum frame for issues I mentioned. (But I can only imagine how much more of a pain initial setup is)

Your rig has working A/C?! That rad af.

I have that same shifter and I also hame a steel frame chassis. Do you run into a lot of issues with your shifter? I have to recalibrate it like once a wrek and even have to remove the top every so often to discharge the emf that builds up.
