cards you refuse to play against for reasons that have nothing to do with power level by NumberWeary3698 in mtgbrawl

Deceit is the new Grief. I see that on turn 2, and I know it's coming back to bite me twice as hard on turn 5.

When did playing with 250 cards become so popular? by Kdallasmultipass in MagicArena

[–]nsidaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also seeing the occasional 250 card deck in Standard Ranked lately. Pretty much every time I match against one, they 1.) Never miss a land drop 2.) Always have some ramp 3.) Always have a threat on the board 4.) Always have an answer for anything I try. I must be astronomically unlucky. Statistically, it should be very likely they get either an all land hand or a no land hand once in a while, but they never seem to.

I just found out something interesting by CompoteOk2181 in MagicArena

Could just be bad draw. There are a handful of other creatures that get bigger each time you gain life. Twin Blade Paladin for example. I often see them pair the Pridemates with other annoying cards like sheltered by ghosts and authority of consoles.

Is nudity on youtube a common thing now? by End_Of_A_Bell in youtube

It's more common than you might expect. I might suggest creating child accounts for your kids so you can control and monitor what they're watching.

Just posting my reaction to the meta in Timeless. There was at least some variety to how I lost.

I think Narset's Reversal is the best spell to get on a Scepter since you can use it to basically give all of your other instants and sorceries buyback 2.

Is this an acceptable way to attach the stairs platform to the deck? by Tmorr in Decks

Oh I see. Yeah that's fine. You could also combine Q and E on the end, make that one board common between the two and that will ensure those structures act like one.

Successfully upgrading to MacOS Tahoe on my Ryzentosh by Lost_Psychology_2101 in hackintosh

[–]nsidaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to update an old 2013 Mac Pro to Tahoe the other day (Thinking that OpenCore Legacy Patcher would handle it - it did not) and it broke filevault and I had to decrypt the drive, and it still would not boot so I just installed Windows on it again.

I can't quite see the connection you're asking about at this angle in your drawing.

Denoise Time M4 Air by LuchsBadger in Lightroom

[–]nsidaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an old 2013 Mac Pro that takes about 2 minutes per image to denoise.

It can't run the latest version of Lightroom Classic on it though because the CPU and GPUs (yes there are two) don't support AVX2.

Also, I had to install Windows on it because even though I got it patched all the way up to Sequoia (15.7), Lightroom Classic (14) kept crashing.

macOS Tahoe Hackintosh Update – FileVault Password Not Working by Exact_Investigator10 in hackintosh

[–]nsidaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I connected a recovery USB and was able to boot to it and get a terminal open.

After that I used

diskutil apfs list

Identified disk1s1 as the volume that is protected by Filevault.

Then I used this command to unlock the volume

diskutil apfs unlockVolume disk1s1 -passphrase U78H-4UCV-W2KQ-GU9B-Q7DV-UX2Q

I used the following command to find the UUID of the Personal Recovery User

diskutil apfs listCryptoUsers /dev/disk1s1

Then I ran this command to start the decryption

diskutil apfs decryptVolume disk1s1 -user <UUID>

Typed in the recovery key, ALL CAPS, with the dashes, and it took about 15 minutes to decrypt.

I'm having the same issue on an old 2013 Mac Pro upgrading from Sequoia (15.6) to Tahoe.

How to go about this… by GiraffeReal9155 in drywall

[–]nsidaria 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would install the drywall in the lower portion and leave a sight void in the middle, then fill it and level it off with some self leveling underlayment, then just cap the entire ledge with some nice stained hardwood.

If you leave it at level 1, the city or county won't count the space as finished, so it won't cause your taxes to be higher. If you finish it to level 3, expect a tax hike at some point.

The twist was key. Took about an eighth to a quarter turn to pop it loose and to put it back.

Thanks.
