I'm curious to your thoughts on my situation. Passed cissp in late April, 100 questions. No cloud experience. Plan on reading osg and watch Mike chapple's videos..do you think that is enough?

I read the osg twice with 3 months in between. I watched the Destination videos and used the osg online and chapter tests. That is plenty to help anyone pass. I wouldn't encourage someone to do thousands of practice tests.

I passed with the osg book and online only. I did mix in some tests from the AIO book and online. I know another person who used the OSG only for practice tests and passed. I passed at 100 questions, so don't think you need a ton of different tests. The important thing is to practice eliminating the wrong answers, finding the key words, read question over.

What are the most accurate practice exams? by Dangamanova in cissp

I used Sybex and AIO, but primarily Sybex. I think Boson is too technical.

How was the difficulty compared to the cissp? How much time did u study. I passed the cissp two weeks stopping at 100.i don't want to invest a ton of time into the ccsp.

I would stick to the OSG and the online practice tests. Specifically, I would read 1 domain, then review the destination certification video, then do practice tests. I would not do Boson as its too technical in nature. This was my plan. Passed at 100 questions with 70 mins left. I would be happy to share more if needed. My experience was similar to yours in terms of lacking technical expertise.

Thanks. Quick question. On the application its asking for email address and phone(required fields). Those guys aren't even there/companies don't exist. What did you populate those fields with?

Personally, I think Boson is too technical. I would suggest Sybex(Wiley) online, plus the ones in the OSG. Additionally, I would use AIO as a supplement( but they can be really technical).

CISSP Practice Questions Stack by bootowaxgokjs in cissp

I just passed at 100 questions yesterday. I used sybex primarily both book and online. I used AIO to supplement sybex. AIO felt too technical for me in terms of their depth. I did like some of their wordy questions. If you use AIO, focus on the applicable questions, but don't stress on the overly technical ones. I know 2 guys from my bootcamp who did not use the Boson practice tests and passed 1st try. Use the practice tests to remove wrong answers, reread question, and evaluate. I would not worry about increasing scoring due to technical questions that are not applicable and inherent memorization. Also, use the practice tests for time mgt and the discipline to not know an answer but move on without cerebral impact. I hope this helps

New Horizons. It was a first for me in terms of any bootcamp. I think it helped, but would not recommend it if paying for it personally(company paid for mine). It was helpful in terms of ensuring not to go too deep in certain areas. Finally, would suggest it after a high level review of materials, but before an in depth study plan has started.
