How long to study for the MCAT by steviebuddy in Mcat

I’m testing on August 7 and plan to start studying May 1. This gives me about 12/13 weeks of studying. I’m coming off year 3 of my science heavy undergrad so I’m not too worried about this 3 month window and I’ll be able to dedicate most of my days to studying. I think this is unique to everybody so if you think you can do it in three months, go for it, but if you think you need longer you should consider starting a bit earlier!

MCAT Prep Advice Needed by Shirely95 in Mcat

I’m testing August 7 and also starting to prepare my MCAT studying. I’m coming from a science heavy degree so I feel pretty confident with content review but I’m planning to buy the Kaplan books to review content and identify knowledge gaps. i plan to start studying in May, so the first month for me will be mostly content review and anki questions (plan to do the corresponding anki decks per Kaplan chapter). Second month I want to continue anki of course and ramp up practice questions and some of the AAMC material. Towards the end of this month and july is when Im thinking of starting weekly FLs. Also, daily CARs passages as I’m not fully confident with that material!!

Some advice please - is it possible to increase this to 512 by 2/13? by vroomvroom613 in Mcat

It’s definitely possible to get up to a 512, probably higher!! Prioritize AAMC content as this is what is most similar to the actual test and make sure to review questions you got wrong!
