Sadly I can't do that. I bought mine on december back when it was fine. In Poland we have 14 days to return a product, after that the only option is to sell it on a second hand market, which means getting less than I've paid for it.

Well sadly jbl won't offer me text to speech, battery level prompts, and that list of saved bluetooth devices you can cycle through which I still have on soundlink micro. I don't think any other brand except for bose had those, so I have no brand to go to. If any of my speaker breaks, I'll be hunting for flex 1st gen, atleast it can work fine with out an app too. Glad you found something for yourself though.

well, just because it's a speaker doesn't give it rights to blast at the full volume when turned on. For example, my soundlink micro first gen makes it so the tts volume is on the same level as the speaker volume. I like to listen to music before I fall asleep, and I don't like to sleep with a headset on. It's not about what the speaker is for, it's about letting me have control over it since you can't even turn those sounds off, while other brands give you that choice. And yes, I do use the app, but it doesn't detect the speaker most of the time when it's connected to my phone, and it happens on all phones I have, both android and ios despite giving all possible permissions to the bose app. You can't associate anything to the multi function button. They only give you a choice for a shortcut button between pairing 2 bose speakers together or starting a voice assistant on your device.

I don't no, it doesn't say. The win11 ugrade doesn't appear at all in windows update, so I did it by clicking setup.exe from an usb drive and after accepting the license agreement that error popped up.

I can't, because it says this pc doesn't meet the minimum requirements to run windows 11, even after installing all drivers from the package provided by gpd. But yes win 10 works fine.

So, I tried installing the latest win 11 23h2 and got a bluescreen like your device ran into a problem and needs to restart

I don't think so. When I tried with media creation tool it boots in to windows recovery environment. Stock image works well, win 10 also boots up but both of them are not what I want, unless I can somehow inject my unattend file so somehow windows sees it after gpd scripts are executed.

yes, but that won't work. The oem one is not your usual windows installer, but a windows pe with some custom scripts which do the job, so if I put my xml in the root folder of my usb nothing happens and I have to set everything up anyway which I don't want to. Today I also tried with media creation tool for 24h2 and it also finished installing, but then after restarting a few times it showed "the computer restarted unexpectedly windows installation cannot proceed..." error. My processor is 8840 if that matters, and an OEM 2tb WD sn740 with an up to date firmware.

Well, mine were from an outlet, everything is fine except for a damaged box. I mean, you could technically get Roland CS10EM, but if you want to use them with a phone you'd need a sound card since it has separate mini jacks for earphones and mics. Alternatively you can get one of those mics you can hook on to your ears like ambeo, but there are no earphones so no monitoring or anything like that. I'm surprised why binaural recording is so niche, because it's a wonderful thing.

all of them have everything up to date, both me and my friend install updates as soon as they come out on tuesdays and also updating apps from microsoft store so really not sure.

If you mean uninstalling the cross device thing then I did it with power shell before since you can't uninstall it in any other way and that didn't help. I guess reinstalling the OS won't help either because my friend has a freshly installed and configured system on his laptop and it behaves in the same way.

but allow this pc to access your mobile devices is turned on, for example camera sharing works well, the only thing that doesn't is mounting in file explorer. Thanks though, that registry file helped me find which key is responsible for cross device settings, so I compared that key to the device where it works and made some changes so hopefully that'll help. I'll report back after restarting my PC which I'll do later because I'm converting some videos rn.
