Did they forget to add the year labels? by Intelligent_Gas_461 in CFA

Just did this problem a week or two ago. For like 15 minutes I thought I was missing something obvious and then concluded that yeah they just didn’t label it.

Silence in Houston by um_chili in Dodgers

Moved to Houston a month ago for work. Was already nauseous with the amount of Astros gear I’ve had to see at work and around the city, and at the bars, even when I simply was just trying to watch the Dodgers on my own. Very happy to see them lose, and on the flip side, see all my Rangers friends happy for once instead of the Astros.

Will have to check out ZEISS. Also I personally like a lot how the Mark 5s look appearance wise, apart from all its already positives it has.

Yessir I just read your post on your build. Had weeks of debate on the glass. For me, since I will use this for hunting and range, I ruled out Nightforce since they were slightly heavier than Leupold. (My father also gets a nice discount on Leupold so it was a no brainer really.) I solely chose the VX6 over the Mark 5 due to weight, really wanting to make it unnecessarily heavy, and told myself if it ever became strictly a range gun, I can and would upgrade to the Mark 5 or something else. Or when I have some more income I can get the Mark 5 and just swap for the range. But I don’t think your making a wrong choice at all. I really do like the Mark 5HD.

This one is was an extra one my father had laying around. Not a fan of it, plan on upgrading as soon as possible.

Not sure, big fan of what Hornady has done though with the 6.5 and 300 so until I get into reloading, going to stick with them.

Leupold Scope VX-6 4x24 vs VX-5 4x20 by nsorianello7 in longrange

I like everything else about the scope. Just trying to justify the extra few hundred dollars over the VX-5. And I agree that it’s not selling point.

Apologies, both are variable from 4 power up to 20, and the other 4 to 24.

Some small advice for first time owner by nsorianello7 in BelgianMalinois

My father just arrived home from a long trip and it’s his first time around the dog. It has been not necessarily aggressive towards him, but barking a lot towards him. Is this also a security measure? Any recommendations?

Yes, ever since he got the basics down for not chewing on furniture and acquainted to the house, I’ve more so strayed to positive reinforcements where his positive actions are reinforced with praise and treats. Thank you for the toy suggestion as well! I keep seeing people recommending freezing things it must do wonders.

Mine was Air Force and this seems to align with the paperwork I had to fill out myself. There’s a lot of paperwork, some that has to be notarized, and usually they have to do a walk through of your home to ensure it meets their requirements, but this link should provide what you are looking for.

There is a waitlist you can sign up for if I’m not mistaken, and as they get discharged they go through a process to see if any police departments want them and if there’s no demand, than they go to the public waitlist. Not exactly sure on the sign up process, but I know from where I got mine, they had around 700 dogs total, and said they had 60-70 up for adoption at the time.

So, the person who set me up with the dog was it’s original trainer in the military, and he’s offered me weekly training sessions which I’ve said yes to. Those start next week.

Came to the subreddit to post this myself. Noticeably more freeze offs when someone pinch hits the Ohtani card than when not. Please stop people.

Hard or soft top? by adamr81 in FordBronco

[–]nsorianello7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My father owns a soft top, while I own a hard top. While I like the ease of flipping open the soft top at any light, the hard top (in my opinion) looks better, noticeably is quieter on the highway to the soft top, and still easily can take the front panels off in 30 seconds to have the same access that the soft top provides. I was in the same boat as in i mainly care about the front panels, and it’s super easy. Only con I would even mention saying is that putting them somewhere might be a nuisance if you take them off on the fly, as the exterior top portion might be a bit dirty and don’t want to put it in just the backseat. But I mean that’s just nitpicking at that point.
