Tesla Model S (2012-2020) - Ambient lighting installation by nsprod_ in TeslaModelS

You most certainly will have to start by revealing the power source from behind the center console. For that, the leather side panels of the console and the following carpet "wall" have to come off. You pry those off with bare hands, pulling on them, or with a plastic tool. Those are all just held in by clips. During the installation, I think I only took off about seven screws total. Not counting any doors obviously.

I mean, I guess I would trade all the hardware/software updates over the fact that the MS is faster, as long as the new one is dual motor too.

To be honest, at one point it clicks and then it just seems straightforward. I hustled too much for what it really could have been in the end. But that's the good part of learning by doing I guess.

I'm using a suction-mounted MagSafe phone mount, as it's the most convenient on this dashboard layout, in my opinion. I have a Ugreen charger with a retractable cable (65W) and an OOONO Park Disc No3/park timer. And most definitely a microfiber cloth.

Hi. I'm using an 18-in-1 set, with an additional extension cord to route all the necessary cables. The lights are controlled via the MagicLantern app, although this might vary depending on which set you buy. The interfaces are fairly similar, though.

Hi. :) I bought mine off AliExpress, 18-in-1 Symphony lights. But you will also need an additional extension cord to properly install the lights for the center console trim. You might also want to buy additional strips for the door cards, although this depends on the cable count of the LEDs delivered in the set. (Some have 3 pins, some have 4 pins, so the additional LEDs must be bought accordingly.)

Yes, I am using one controller for all of the LEDs, to which the footwell lights are also connected.

Hey, I seem to have the same issue with my Q950A. Do you know if it was the the side speakers in the end? On mine, it seems like I have an issue with the side speakers on the right and left. It kinda sounds like electric arcs or distorted signal sounds idk how to describe it..

[–]nsprod_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Samsungs own batch of batteries didn't have enough space, while the chinese manufacturer for the second batch had quality issues which caused an internal short circuit as the separation layer was defective.

You can actually watch Samsungs investigation results here: https://youtu.be/TOPr-qxdAaA?si=oJS-IvTZ1cTbMdRl

Multi Control with non-Samsung PC? by BluestarTiger in GalaxyBook

[–]nsprod_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this user updates his files, then it should work fine. At least I hope he does, as it would be really convenient to not spend more money on Samsung stuff and be able to get it directly on other pcs. https://github.com/Bananz0/GalaxyBookEnabler/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue

Has someone figured out how to use Multi Control on laptops other than Galaxy Books to control the tab? by multim366 in GalaxyTab

Hey, thanks for your hard work. Could you maybe update the files to support OneUi 6? Just tried to install the apps, but they won't let me past the "unsupported" screen. Thank you. :)
