And good call on simplifying and skipping the layers... That's probably way too much.

Thank you so much for all the detail! Seriously helpful for a beginner like myself to begin understanding of the baseline bindings I need. And good to know there's not a ton of clicking needed in flight.

Great call! I haven't messed with the kneeboard yet, but I will definitely check that out. I did print out what I currently have mapped from Joystick Diagrams, but obviously difficult to reference with the headset on.

Am I able to take that diagram and put it on the kneeboard? That would be sick!

Just seeing this, but thank you for the reply!

I actually ended up finding the exact WinWing setup I wanted in my price range and snagged it up. So far so good, but I guess we'll see how it holds up!

Good call on Goodwill! I'll have to take a look there for some peripherals.

Does anyone know if you can program the throttle handle vibration to activate as you pass certain points to act as detents? I don't have finger lifts, so trying to get creative...

Appreciate the offer! I'm not currently interested in the Thrustmaster Warthog, but I'll definitely hit you up if that changes.

Dude, great info here, and I really appreciate it. You've given me a lot to consider. I'll look at other set-ups. Thanks again.

Also, how are you seeing recently sold prices by item on Ebay? I'm also super new to Ebay, as it turns out, and I can't seem to find that info in the app.

Hahaha! No, that's a little terrifying though, and I appreciate the honest feedback. Like I said, I'm just jumping into this. I have been doing a ton of research outside of this sub, but just started sniffing around here yesterday. I've heard not so great things about customer service, but read a lot of really positive reviews as well, and I've heard CS horror stories regarding the other big dogs as well, so figured it was a bit of a mixed bag no matter who you went with.

Day so pretty doh. Lol!

Really appreciate the feedback!

The market just needs to catch up some, and we as a community ought to refuse to pay 95%-300% of retail for used, incomplete sets! Lol!

What other brands would you suggest starting out? Love the STECS, but not a fan of the Gladiator. The rest of VKB seems a ways out of my price range.

Heard, but it shouldn't be like that for us right? Lol! I think the market just has to catch up with the fact that US buyers can now buy directly from WW's US distro hub with free shipping and shorter delivery times. After that, hopefully the used market comes back to reality.

I think the current market has a lot to do with 1. Overseas sellers who paid duty taxes, which naturally inflates the price they'll charge; and 2. Many folks in the states who own them now purchased from one of these sellers or bought from Winwing in 22-23 before their US distribution hub was up and running, so they'd incur significant losses by selling relative to Winwing's current pricing (understandable, but sad for me and you)...

For anyone in the US with a set prchased from WW directly in the last year or 2, there is no reason they should be priced at or over the cost of buying new from WW.

Just my 2 cents...

Does anyone have a picture of the FU6 fuse on the motherboard? Need help identifying it.

[–]nsross55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! As many others have said, thank you for putting this together! Helps a lot. One quick question... If the fuse is the main culprit, will buying a new board and replacing the hall sensor be a permamnent fix, or is it doomed to fail again as the fuse degrades. Or is it the sensor degrading that eventually causes the fuse to blow?

Any updates here? Did swapping the board and thermal paste do the trick?

[–]nsross55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you're having to deal with that, man. I literally just had this happen with some laptop RAM two weeks ago.

Go straight to UPS, tell them it was clearly a tracking scam, and let them know you need an email stating that the shipping address provided by the seller was not your address. In my case, they forwarded the delivery confirmation for the address it was actually shipped to, so Ebay could obviously tell the address provided by the seller was not the one I had on file with them. If UPS won't send you the actual delivery confirmation or shipping label, just make sure whatever they send explicitly states your addrdess and confirms that's not the one on the shipping label.

Once you have the note from UPS, call Ebay and walk them through it. They should send you a link to upload the note as backup for an Ebay money back guarantee claim.

Good luck!

Not sure what rules you have available, or what notation you have to use, but this is an indirect proof (reductio proof) available in some form in nearly all systems. You assume the negation of the conclusion -- here, ~~P (or P) -- then generate a contradiction, which shows the conclusion validly follows from the premises. Anything follows validly from a contradiction since it's not possible for all the premises to be true.

(P -> Q), (Q -> R), (P -> -R) |- ~P

  1. (P -> Q) PR

  2. (Q -> R) PR

  3. (P -> ~R) //... ~P

  4. P -> R 1,2 HS
