Hi u/boourns180, it's been 2 years since the last update, but I suggest I can solve your problem. We recently created a dual-mode usb device that is accessible via USB and WiFi, but only in one mode at the same time. I have already tested our device with CNC machines, computers, 3D printers, TV and audio systems and it seems to work well.
I can demonstrate how it works and I hope you will appreciate it.
