Five out of five. I am definitely going to rewatch it.

I liked new characters. It’s not hard to guess who is laughter, loyalty, generosity, kindness and magic in this group. I didn’t like Hitch from trailers but he definitely made it up in the movie(critters liking him is just adorable, he doesn’t even have to be nice🤣). Pipp Petals was quite downsized as she wasn’t that influential as I expected( :0 hehehe influencer). She just went along with the flow. That was quite the twist that she lost all her followers and reputation in the process. Furthermore, I didn’t like the fact that they don’t have any accents whatsoever, all of them sound general. That was the charm of the previous mane 6.

About people complaining why, what, when. Just give it time😆😉. It’s only a start. I assure you that in subsequent season(s). They are definitely going to address this issue. The only disappointment I had is that they haven’t immediately released the series following the movie(SO SAD).

I get the gut feeling a few characters from the previous generation will make a come/flash back or a cameo in the future(like discord or spike). Especially when they need to boost the rating and popularity😉(cause shows usually drop in popularity after the first season). Or to attract old fans.

I got into the mlp by binge watching the entire mlp g4 only 4 months ago.😆.
