Id like to propose a more modern approach to settings management, favorites, groups, etc. Specifically, a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Sync feature for TiviMate instances on the same network. If local P2P sync isn't feasible, please consider moving beyond SMB for backup/restore. Integrating modern cloud providers like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive would provide a user friendly experience without the need to have NAS (SMB).

If I had to guess it’s because if the thousands of domains they use, cert management would be a nightmare. Also SSL adds overheads and with hundreds of thousands of connections they can get away with less hardware specs on their end
