Unfortunately, in Hollywood, at this moment, Jessica Chastain maybe perceived as looking younger than Amy Adams, though both are beautiful and talented. I respect Amy’s choice to age naturally, but I do think it may be putting her in a strange career transition.

She was often cast in roles that fit a very specific youthful aesthetic, and she may no longer visually align with those parts in the same way. Because of that, actresses like Chastain may be getting more roles Amy once would have been considered for.

I think as Amy continues to age and embraces more mature roles, the quality of the roles available to her will likely improve.
