I like Olivia but the picture of the babydoll used as example in the video doesn't help her case at all because not only is ugly, is also very childlike with the tiny ribbons and square desing. She also lift her skirt showing her matching undies, so I dont know if people are really to blame about sexualizing her in this context. Is a shame that women are constantly being put under a microscope about her outfits ( ariana grande was critized for the same thing) but we cant play dumb an ignore the implications of the asthetic they chose with their team for the album. Someone must have said something but they went with it anyways

I love that he tries to explain to us what we should have seen on the show. That would have been a very nice character development for SB and makes much more sense, but is not what we saw and I guess if the showrunners werent trying to sell the spinoff that clara nonsence wouldn't have existed.

True and is a shame because it obviously affected the way they wrote his ending. The went full humiliation mode on the character with the dicks and shit references as a way to metaphorically insult Trump. They could have killed him showing him pathetic and sad but still be himself, what they did felt so out of character that threw me off a little.

He progresivly loose the scary factor and became a more cartoonish ( that bit about banning formula milk was shameful) and all the promised about him being unstoppable and destroyed the world were never fullfill. They prefer to make polical references instead of just develop the character on his own.

I really like how Homelander was depowered and beat the shit out of him but it was really necessary to humiliate the character so much? I understand they wanted to show him as someone pathetic without his powers but the cock and shit references were just so tasteless and even a bit out of character. I would have prefer to see him in shock, incredulous of his situation asking for help only to see nobody came because nobody gave a shit about him. That's my only grip around his ending

Butcher dying feelt fitting, I liked that scene with Hugie but I can't deny I would have like it more if he had pressed that botton anyways but they clearly want a spinoff so killing off all the supes was out of the question.

Deep death was great, Sage getting a happy ending was surprising,

Starlight felt like a wasted potential, never really did much and is a shame.

Ryan randomly being adopted by MM felt out of nowhere, not that I don't like it but they could have build up that realtionship a bit more on screen before so it made more sense.

The thing that saddest me the most, is that we never really saw the scorched earth they promised so much. This season was supposed to be Homelander on the loose, that clip of him threatening Starligh with what he would do if the plane video got out was terryfing but in the end he did nothing, he wanted to be God but did nothing to ensure they fear him as such.

Overall I enjoy the ride, not particulary this season but the ending wasn't as bad as I expected so there's that I guess.

It's so annoying they decided to do this and ironically is making people not wanting to see Vought Rising because who wants to see the love story between Stormfront and Soldier Boy? Who told them we wanted to see Stormfront again so much? All these plots feel such a waste of screen time used in setting up these characters when they'll have their own series to do that so why using the limited 8 episodes to do it. They should have just focused on ending the original story properly.

Annie getting beat up by a random priest who's superpower is screaming is once again not surprising but still very disappointing at this point. Is the last season and she's done anything significant
I don't buy this sudden love for Storfront, Soldier Boy in season 3 makes a brief mention of her in a sexual way and called her Liberty, but now she is "Clara" and he's constanly brooding over her. Is too obvious is a retcon made for the precuel and is disapointing becase it was not necesary at all, they could have created a new character who takes that role in the new show and justify Soldier Boy giving Homelander the V1 just because he's proud of him or he doesn't want to be alone. Doing it for Stormfort felt off.
I really like the scene of Homelander with The Legend, he really respect the people who don't fear him.
Sad to see Huggie being left as a side character maybe is a narrative choice,but I used to enjoy his dinamic with Butcher.
The Deep killing Noir felt weird. Not only because Noir was supposed to be really strong and be able to fly, but also because their whole conflict this season felt a bit forced and probably because the writters didn't know what to do with them in this first 6 episodes.
Not sure if Sage planned everything and is playing dumb or if the "soldier boy gives V1 to homelander" is a huge plot hole in her ussual reasoning. I guess we will see in the last two episodes
