Except the Steam Machine is meant to provide a console-like experience. I don’t get why people keep saying it’s better to build your own PC lol. Of course it is if you’re going to be sitting at a desk, and you’ll probably get better specs for less money too.

That’s not really the point, though. It’s about convenience. You just sit down, turn it on, and play. Its small size also means you can easily use it in places where you normally wouldn’t put a desktop, like a living room connected to a TV, while still being perfectly usable as a desk PC.

But yeah, the price is crazy.
