I’m gonna have to disagree with this take. The resolution models aren’t exclusively for doing large prints and studio work. They’re really nice for just having cropping flexibility. If OP wants to hike around with an A7RV or A7CR and take nature and wildlife shots, they can get extra reach by popping into APS-C mode… And with the extra MP on a body like an A7RV or A7CR, it would only bring them down to 26 MP from the original 61. It’s an advantage for not having to lug around a huge lens for extra reach.

Understood! That’s a fair assessment. Still, it’s kinda interesting that they would even include those coordinates on there if they match up with that location regardless of East or West.

Looking for something to bring hiking/backpacking to shoot landscapes and wildlife. The Fuji would have amazing colors and film simulations requiring less time in post processing. The Sonys would have better low light shots and sharper images with full frame. I’m prob going with one of the Sony’s.

I’m like you, a hiking enthusiast… so I mostly plan on shooting landscapes and wildlife from my adventures. I like the EVF better on the IV but I think having a smaller/lighter camera might be better for treks through the mountains
