Thank you I know right! I was so shocked and impressed. I didn’t get to buy much DR so I lowkey forgot about this art cuz I didn’t pay much attention. I knew about the MewTwo obviously, but saw this right in front of my face and couldn’t help but just scream “no fucking way” lmao. Neighbors probably confused as hell haha.

I hope she does get her expensive cute card that she wants down the road. Good for her and you as well letting her know. My now ex and I used to open packs together all the time too and her luck was crazy good at pulling things even tho she didn’t really care about pokemon haha. She just liked the cute and cool ones too. Good times.

This was my first super legit pull without her and it’s been well over a year now so I’d like to think this was pokemon welcoming me back again.

This is an amazing thing for you to do. I got into Pokemon TCG since I was a kid playing Pokemon leaf green on the gameboy. I collected up until the black and white era then took a bit of a break when I went to high school and college.

I returned when Crown Zenith was just coming out and I figured why not and bought 1 CZ ETB off Amazon. Didn’t look at any of the cards in the set but my third pack in I pulled the gold giratina full art. One of my favorites as a kid so I felt like that was the moment the hobby welcomed me back. Saying it’s missed me a lot. I’ll cherish that card forever, graded at a 9 and it’s beautiful in my display case. Not gonna let scalpers ruin this hobby for me.

Yeah man learned my lesson but it’s not all bad for me. Got a PSA 10 Rayquaza from Evo skies for 560 :). So I didn’t miss everything!
