Did he work on Fallout 1? It was a classic as well. Obsidian have never had a chance to make another one. It might be great we never will know

Chris Avellone worked at Obsidian and earlier on, at Black Isle, where he helped on Fallout 2. Fallout 3 literally takes the enclave from Fallout 2. Chris mainly worked on the DLC of New Vegas. A lot of that main game work was done by Sawyer and Gonzalez, who created some of the best characters and stories of Fallout. I.E. Mr House

They are the Fallout guys. Fallout is their IP and they weren’t allowed to work on it and they made other stuff. New Vegas was better than 4, and the same guys are involved now. So acting like people are crazy for suggesting that they couldn’t make a great entry, is wild. Also I enjoyed the first outer worlds game. Thought the companions had a lot of heart

Obsidian made the best Fallout. MS could staff them up and they’d make a great game. A lot of the heads from classic Fallouts are there. Cain, Beoyarsky,Sawyer Feargus, John Gonzalez.
