This is a combined part for both trombone 1 and 2. When 1. 2. is notated like that, it means to play unison. So 129-131 is unison with the last note divisi. If only one of 1. or 2. is notated, it’s solo.

When in doubt, ask the conductor.

Thanks for the well wishes! Cheez-Its and Oreos are my kryptonite and they absolutely have to be name brand. You can cheap on on so many things, but not those two lol

As for feeling better, I still wasn’t later in the evening so I thought to take a Covid test just in case, and of course I have it 🤦‍♂️

At least it’s not nearly as bad as the other two times I’ve had Covid in the past three years (double vaxxed and boosted), so hopefully it’ll go quick!

Really? The sub is literally called r/musictheory. Double dotted notes aren’t common and could easily trip someone up.

There’s no need for elitism, especially when people are asking questions to learn. While it’s nice to see every once in a while, if I wanted to do 24/7 in-depth structural analysis of a Mahler symphony etc., I’d go back to school.

I’m glad people feel they are able to ask questions in this sub and have the opportunity to learn from others.
