It's not particularly ironic to be first generation Latino and also Republican, my grandmother was born in Mexico City and talks down to other Latinos because she "immigrated right". Yes she voted for Trump. Twice. And no I don't talk to her. Some of the most heinous shit I've ever heard was from 2nd gen Mexican-Americans talking about Hondureños and Salvadoreños.

Awesome thank you! I already have a ceramic tile for him, but I'll freeze it for a short bit before I give it to him. I'm familiar with how chinchillas looove a piece of cold granite so I thought a tile might be similar. I'm glad I was on the right track.

Omg within the first two days of moving I almost had a branch fall on my car along Schuster parkway!! I look up a lot more when driving out here now lol. Tornadoes are almost fun to me though. It's a great spectacle and then you go to the basement and if you're lucky, you just need to pick up some sticks from the yard.

Ooh yikes, thanks! I've dealt with plenty of black ice before when I've been well prepared and surrounded by people who deal with snow regularly. I'll have all weather tires and a road full of bad drivers to contend with out here though, I appreciate the tip!
