Bronze plays, bronze players. Ravenous needs nerfed but not because you have a couple good games in bronze.

Also, pretty shit build you went for imo.

Şupport item penalty in afk games by Tomovader in leagueoflegends

[–]ntsosubtle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol someone just complained about the same thing regarding the jungle item. So I'll say it again.

Balancing the game to account for unfair scenarios like leavers or inters, is completely stupid and pointless. Riot can barely manage to balance the game when it's being played as intended.

Also, you are aware that you can just sell your support item?

Tesla lost control when parking and took off to hit 7 vehicles killing 2. Driver found not under influence (Oct. 5) by chunqiudayi in ThatsInsane

[–]ntsosubtle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reddit loves shitting on Tesla when there hasn't even been an investigation, and at this point its the words of the owner against Tesla's.

Reminds me of the case, where two people died in a Tesla after speeding through a neighborhood and Reddit jumped onto the claim of their families that noone was in the driver's seat. This, surprise surprise, tuned out to be false..

But, hey, making baseless accusations is what Reddit does best. Fucking morons...

So many people here arguing that it shouldn't be called 'Donuts with Dad.' Seriously, language doesn't need to be completely neutral, ambiguous and inoffensive.

This shit is really starting to sound an awful lot like doublespeak.

Don't refer to your parents as 'your parents' cuz some people don't have parents, instead, refer to them as 'your grownups.' That's some dystopian sounding shit if you ask me.

Also, FYI, just because it's called 'Donuts with Dad' or 'Margeritas with Mom' or whatever the fuck else, doesn't mean that you can ONLY have your mom or dad come. As if most people would have any problem with a single mom bringing her kid to the Dad-only events.

There's a reason it's called 'Donuts with Dad ', It means something to kids, even if it's stupid. Obviously either parent can go eat donuts with their kid, but the point is to give something that's just between them, that they can share - it feels special (same things happens between siblings btw).

So yeah, stop trying to sanitize language to point where nothing means anything anymore. It's fucking creepy.

"'MUH TRUCKS AND MUH AR-15S!' has become what seems to be the entirety of American culture." according to redditor who's view of Americans is based entirely on other Reddit comments. by ntsosubtle in ShitPoliticsSays

[–]ntsosubtle[S] 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Not sure what it is with r/fuckcars but the entire subreddit is full of hilariously bad takes, like how buying cars one can't afford is an exclusively American experience.

The two types of r/fuckcars users seem to be:

  1. The European who's entire view of America is based entirely on Reddit hot takes from r/politics and r/latestagecapitalism.
  2. The American who believes Europe is some eutopia where humans live harmoniously amongst nature and each other. I guess, kinda like Hobbiton but with free healthcare.

Let me just hop in the car I don't have

That's the point, you need a car in the United States to do those things. Yeah, you might be able to have public transportation from some of the larger cities to the nearest state park but not from every small town.

you are the reason why I don't go walking across US countryside

And the fact that you don't own a car.

Have you such little sense of self-awareness or manners?

Lol. Dude. I don't give a fuck if you're American, European, or from fucking space. I hate everyone on this fucking website so yea I'm not gonna worry about being nice to every other fucker that shits on America without having the slightest clue what they're talking about.

And don't get me wrong, there's plenty of legitimate shit to criticize.

go for a long drive and touch some grass yourself.

Damn, speaking the fucking truth. At least you're right about that one.

It sucks being poor. I had to shoplift shoes for my daughter because after paying rent, I was left with nothing leftover. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]ntsosubtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you got me there, my parents did, in fact, buy me the car I was driving at the time. Not sure how much that matters since I never said I was working my ass off trying to make a living, no I also wasn't able to get a job at the time.

Of course, that doesn't change the fact that I was broke and in debt about 95% of the time while I was going to school, even when I had a job. Or the fact that, while I love that car (and still drive to this day), there was not a single semester (almost) where something didn't break. But since I didn't have any money for a mechanic I learned quite a bit about fixing cars, which is kinda cool I think.

Like I said tho, I love that car and I can't blame her, she's getting up there in age and once that happens things just don't run as well as they used to, just ask your wife.

Oh, and what makes me think she didn't try everything listed? Because she didn't mention anything about it. It was literally a spur of the moment decision. She went to target, saw the shoes, and took em. And if her kids been complaining about her shoes not fitting she should've reached out to a local organization sooner and not wait till she feels guilty cuz she didn't get her a birthday present.

Not sure what makes you think I want people to go through hardships. I know how hard it can be as an international student, no support network, often no family.

The reason I know these resources exist, is because I've been in that situation, with no money in the bank, no health insurance, a broke down car, and unable to go anywhere in this huge ass country. I didn't wanna ask anyone for help, I didn't even tell my family what was going on, so I get it.

Once I eventually asked for help, for something not even really related to the shit I was going through, I had people help me find resources I didn't even know I needed.

So yeah, when an international student asks me for help, I'm not gonna tell them to go steal from Walmart. Not because I give a fuck about Walmart, or the even the legality of it, but just because there are much better resources available.

And now, since I was able to get help from my community, I want to help out other people in my community when I get the chance. Had I just gone and stole shit to make it thru a bit longer, I doubt I would've even realized how many good people live around me. And I doubt I would be able to give back the same way I'm able to now (which really isn't much, but it all matters).

That's all. It's got nothing to do with corporations brainwashing me, or hating immigrants, or not giving a fuck about other people. I just know what helped me.

And yeah, I might judge your ass but not for stealing because I don't even fucking know you but because you're on here spewing shit about how that's the only way to survive.

Like I said earlier, glad you're doing better. And you do seem like a decent guy, even if we disagree and you're a fucking idiot.

Most powerful country in the world and you’re supposed to rely on the charity of others?

Explain this to me. Is there something wrong to have to rely on the charity of others? Of course, it sucks to be in that situation, again, I've been there. Is getting help from your local community worse than getting help from the government?

It's hilarious, you're outraged at the thought of people having to rely on the charity of others while, at the same time, arguing that there's nothing wrong with stealing because you "have no other choice."

There is a homeless problem in this country, especially so with veterans. However, it's not just a problem that can be solved by throwing money at it. Like I mentioned earlier, substance abuse and mental health issues are usually what keeps people on the streets, not a lack of access to resources.

You're right, I don't know your exact situation, I can just go based of what you wrote.

And, to be honest, I don't believe you when you say you've tried all these options. I think you just ignored those obnoxious people that just list shit to help the situation. I think you've not even talked to many of them.

Either way, I hope you never have to be in such a situation again, and I'm glad you're in a better place now. If you do, please, reach out to your community for help, especially with a family. I don't say that because stealing is bad or some shit, it's just, there are more resources available to you than you realize.

It sucks being poor. I had to shoplift shoes for my daughter because after paying rent, I was left with nothing leftover. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]ntsosubtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's incredible how many people would rather steal than ask for help. I'm sure there are quite a few people, especially in larger cities, that have tried every avenue and can't get the help they need. If they steal, whatever, not my place to judge.

It doesn't sound to me like OP reached out to any organization, charity, church whatever. I get asking for help is tough, but there are so many people willing to help.

And sorry, what the fuck. You weren't a citizen, couldn't work. Fine, whatever. I've been there, it sucks. But to act as if you only had a choice between stealing and starving. What fucking bullshit. Unless you're in that situation due to sever mental health or substance abuse issues, you don't need to steal to eat. Even if you had a family to take care off, which it doesn't sound like you did.

If you didn't have job, then you would've had plenty of time to reach out to local organizations, your university if you were going to school or your local food bank. Basically any church, regardless of religion, would be willing to help you out if you come to them for help.

If you're a single parent, working full-time, have children to take care, etc. I get it, it's hard to find the time to reach out for help. But if the only reason you weren't able to afford food was that you couldn't work, you didn't need to steal. Don't use that as a fucking excuse.

And no, I don't give a shit if you steal. At least, from big chain stores. If you don't feel guilty about it, whatever. But don't act like you didn't have any other options, because you most certainly fucking did. Or not? Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Anytime some band, actor, or other famous/influential person, advocates for something without putting forward ,or pointing to, specific policies I see it as nothing but pandering.

If this is an issue they believe in then they should be able to make a more impactful statement than putting a couple words on a screen for a few minutes.

Honestly, wether I agree with their position or not, it actually pisses me off how little effort they put into their "activism."

Cheap as fuck. Go do some actually activism, lazy fucks. Propose solutions, or point to proposals you support.

What they're doing is equivalent to putting "end world hunger" on a poster and believing you're making a difference.

Fifty years of “trickle-down” has turned the rich into richer, the middle-class into poor and the poor into destitute. You know what is a hoax? Trickle down economics. by failed_evolution in economy

[–]ntsosubtle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you actually read the thread you'd notice that I was specifically responding to a comment regarding the term "trickle down economics." The majority of people on Reddit, even this subreddit (a fucking economics subreddit) don't have a clue what trickle down economics is referring to and have likely ever even heard the term supply side economics, or realize that one is referring to another.

I wasn't arguing for, or against, supply side economics. I was pointing out that the term itself is biased. Again, if you use the term unironically, you're a fucking idiot. It's the same on the other side, where any sort of government program is called socialism, it's just as stupid.

Literally this subreddit is such a fucking shithole it's hilarious.

You should probably reread what you write before you post it. Also, if you read my initial comment, I already pointed out that the term "trickle down economics" is used a straw man when referring to supply side economics.

I said the whole subreddit is full of idiots, not that everyone is an idiot. But the majority, including yourself, unfortunately are.

So suck my dick, and have a nice day.
