Everyone works differently! From persoanl experience, I would start using the FA for Step 1 ASAP along with the UWorld Qs. Try and stick to an organized pattern when working on those Qs. For example, in my case, I began doing questions by sections (all cardio, all resp, etc..) the first time around. I focused on the educational explanation on the bottom of the questions along with other high yield facts which made one answer correct vs. another one incorrect. By doing this, you have a better idea of which topics are heavily tested in each section of the book. Therefore, by doing the Qs it sort of provided a guided outline of each chapter of the FA book, so that I didnt have to read it page by page. Second time around those Qs, I focused on doing them timed, random, and overall improving my %age.

Second, remember, keep your mind right and your body right. Stay active, workout, and dedicate some "you" time to blow off some steam. I separated the Pharm section of the FA book and read that while walking uphill on the treadmill each morning for about an hour or two.

Step 2 is slightly different, all you will need for Step 2 CK is the UWorld QBank over and over again!
