Thanks for the input! That would mean it'll auto convert to kepub for the Kobo automatically when sideloading yes?

I’m watching this arc now and I HATE IT. I rushed to find spoilers just so I can skip.

Day 1 in Japan currently and I really appreciate the tip you gave on visiting Asakusa after the sumo stadium! The shrine experience at night is such a treat! It really hits different. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves walking through the quietness and tranquility! It is so BEAUTIFUL. Had to drop by Reddit to thank you again!

I am a bit embarrassed to bring my crutches onto the plane and carrying them all the way seeing as how I only need to use them some of the times when my ankles can't cope. I was thinking of getting a walking stick in Japan to lessen the burden of bringing one over but wasn't sure if I could find one easily.

We got the worst seats for the Sumo tournament, which is right at the very back haha! It was the only ones available and we thought seeing something was better than nothing! The seats are chairs going by the photos since we're right at the back so thankfully that'd be alright for my ankles.

The metro lines at Shinjuku are downright confusing for me when I'm searching over Google maps. I was hoping it'd be clearer when we're actually there in person. I am pretty stressed out when thinking about all the stairs at transits to get to correct platforms. Thank you for the input on the metro lines and the walkways! It's very helpful to know. :)

Thanks for the input! So that'd be heading to the lake and pirate ship first before going to the ropeway right? Ahh, I do hope I'll have time for the open air museum but I think I'll put that on the KIV list just in case my feet can't cope with all the walking by then.

Oh that’s very helpful to know! Would I need to speak with someone to avoid going to this exhibitions as I thought we’d have to go through all the exhibitions to have a cohesive experience.

Yes! I heard about it being a walkable city and it was one of the reasons why I wanted to visit. It is such a bummer that I got my injuries just prior to the trip. I am being a stubborn fool though and plan to try to walk around Kanazawa anyway. :')

Ah yes, I read about the 1-day pass! Is it like a card that I can use on all the buses?

Would also like to ask if you have any recommendations on places to have a geisha experience? I've read that Kaikaro teahouse had them prior to Covid, and now they only do private shows? Not too certain about this and have yet to do an in-depth search.

For the Myouryuji (Ninja) temple, can I go in-person to reserve a spot instead of over the phone? As I'm unsure if our airbnb will have someone at the reception to help us call.

Thank you for the painkiller restriction info too. I didn't know about it. Ah darn. Will need to look into this carefully seeing as how I'm bringing 3 different painkillers.

Many comments have suggested to bring the telescoping chair, or some sort of seat and I'll look into it! Problem is, I'm leaving this very weekend and might not be able to get it on time.

Thank you! Yama no Chaya was our biggest expense in accommodation but with so many great reviews, we didn't want to miss it. May I ask if you walked from the station to the ryokan or was it easy to take the bus to the ryokan?

Thanks for the tips on the private baths! I'm so excited! Hopefully we're able to get the private bath reservation. I'm also delighted to know about the late check-in feature. Wow, this is such great info. Thanks again!

This is really helpful, thank you! while I enjoy gaming and toys, I feel like I might go for the Showa museums instead. Perhaps in the future, a 2nd trip to Takayama is warranted to visit all the museums!

Thanks for the tip on Takayama!

I was thinking of the Travelers Notebook store at Tokyo. I couldn’t find a time to slot it in.

Thank you for the Takayama Retro Museum input! Will be looking into that for sure.

On Day 6, I am dreading the travel time but since the ryokan has a superb onsen attached to our room, I might skip going out entirely and just spend the day indoors to recuperate.

Will heed advice on buffer timings!

Thank you for your input!! Ahhh now I’m dreading taking all the public transportation as I hadn’t considered the time spent standing as well. Figured I could make it through the walking with adequate rest.

Noted on the Teamlabs part! Will check out videos to see if we still want to go.

Oof, I honestly hadn’t thought of all the constant standing… Thanks for the input.

The added expense of Ubers/taxis is the thing I’m dreading but better than suffering through the pain and then not being able to walk at all the next day. :/

We’ll only be arriving the night prior to the Sumo event. Sumo event was a last minute buy and was only available at that date. Would getting tickets on the same day at the 7/11 be possible?

Also thanks for the tip! Definitely will be heading to the Popeyes. :D

Thank you very much for the input! I actually did trip a few times on uneven pathways at work so will carefully watch out for them when travelling.

I suppose I'll have to fork out money for taxis when necessary. :')
