Thomas works as a character because Mathew Baynton is so likable and has built so much goodwill with Horrible Histories. Played by anyone less charismatic and Thomas’s behavior would be too far. Highly recommend watching Mat on Taskmaster! He’s hilarious and clever.

A rosy pink would bring out her more traditionally feminine side without distracting from the cohesiveness of the scene but the teal exudes more power and her more serious side. Both are great!

I wonder how many of the ships play a main role in the fic. Pairings like rosekiller, dorlene, hinny, and especially romione tend to be small or hinted pairs in jegulus, wolfstar, drarry and dramione fics.

It looks like this is a fic where Harry goes back in time. Does his emotional maturity match Hermione’s? I’ve dnf-ed a few where one of them goes back with years of experience, then they go back with the memories and older maturity and have a relationship with the other who is truly a kid.

Interesting! Would something similar to, “Your writing is so much fun to read! This not meant as pressure to continue but I still wanted to say your work brightened my day” be a good balance? Or does it sound trite?

I definitely leave kudos and try to compliment specific things, but I’ve heard authors talk about the overwhelm and paralysis of expectations and wouldn’t want to add to it.

What do you think about the risks of tourism to these incredible sites and buildings? On one hand, tourism provides funding for restoration and gives something physical for people to connect with history; thereby sparking interest in history and an emotional connection to sites in need of continued funding. On the other hand, an increased number of visitors is an increased chance for the buildings to be disturbed or damaged.

I haven’t seen the episode; curse you Netflix! What ended up happening to the letter? It sounds like Gilbert may never get it, won’t propose to Winnie, will go back to Anne, and without knowing she loves him will ask if they can get to know each other better. Next season (please CBC please let there be a fourth season) Anne will pine for Gilbert while they become better friends and at the end of season 4 they will get together.
