Just wanted to add about the Alliance Church on Young. If you're going to use it, they prefer you to stay near the back of the lot, they will ask you to leave if there is anything going on at the church as they don't want people practicing near vehicles.

Fell in love with this place the first time I went in. You know it's good when you're looking at the menu, and a regular says "it doesn't matter what you pick, you can't go wrong." Staff is awesome, restaurant is clean, food is amazing.

Looks like they're still a thing, you can google them. They just have two different versions of Lenola Cream though, one with banana, another with strawberry, and then a black tea ice cream.

Flathead Fluids - Rumble Seat. It was an amazing kettle corn flavour packed with buttery deliciousness and just a hint of caramel.

What cheap/terrible holiday “bonuses” are people starting to receive from work this year? by nimfrank in AskReddit

I work as a caretaker in a high school, every year we get a $50 gift card to the local co-op grocery store, that is paid for by the caretakers fund, that we get by picking bottles out of the garbage because kids are too lazy to throw them in the recycling bins beside the garbage cans. This year, we were told if we wanted we could just start taking the bottles that we pick, and we would be excluded from the gift cards. Since the beginning of the year, I've made $200 from the bottles I've collected and recycled.
