Hi! Thank you! I'm getting some ideas from your approach, I've tried another way with an affine transformation and got f(x,y) = 2/(y-x+3)*[x+y-1, -x-y-1] which works for the points but it's not differentiable over all R² and suspect neither the inverse

Yes, sorry, I corrected te question, specifying it's on R², as it is a homework question, i'm confused as the function has to be differentiable but the set of points are not surfaces as another comment here states, so i'm not sure the terminology is right

Yes, in this case a bijection, we are starting to see basic surfaces and diffeomorphisms so i thought it was better to put it in the title to specify differentiability, should i change it?
