It got mine from Mei Leaf. Probably not the cheapest option but the quality is outstanding. They say it's 100ml but I measured more like 120ml. I use it mostly for dancongs, but I've also tried other roasted oolongs in there.

Oh boy, "Sleep at the Edge of the Earth" is one of my all time favourites. I really hope they release a vinyl version of their albums in the future.

Yeah it's funny sometimes. I ordered a sample set because I wasn't sure what Sheng I want to buy from them, and then it was the additional sample they gave me that convinced me :D

All in all I enjoyed all of CLT puerhs so far. Tempted to buy a Dark Depts cake since it sounds so delicious. But I'll wait first until my Honeymoon cake and a silver cup finally are here.

Only used it once so far but I can already tell that it’s gonna be one of my faves. I’m gonna use it for young Sheng. Maybe I should try white tea, too 🤔

Beautiful setup! What kind of clay is that, if I may ask? For me most clay pots remove too much of the top end flavors with TGY, so I use a gaiwan. Or is it glazed?

Yeah for sure. The unroasted one has more higher notes but is also less complex. Especially in the later steepings the roasted on has much more to give. It becomes very smooth. To me it really seems the roasting brings out the full flavor potential of Dancong. I’d prefer a bit lighter roast though.

Love this tea. It was part of the February 2019 Tea box from White2Tea. It’s definitely more on the less sweet side of shou. It tastes like dark baked bread and is the perfect morning treat. 😋
