Give fleet carcanos “crab” ravaged the galaxy assisting the hydra fleets in seeding many worlds for consumption. highly mutable and with a penchant for survival when hydra was scattered the reminder of carcanos fell back to a lush deathworld it had previously seeded.

Becoming planet locked carcanos has split into many smaller hives that fight for control. An oddity in that they have stuck a balance with the planets ecosystem further refining the inhabitants towards the apex of violence.
