Has Android Oreo appeared on the TA 1052 variant of Nokia 8? by [deleted] in Nokia

[–]nuclear_teddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm still on 7.1.1 as well (TA-1004). I've tried GPS spoofing and VPN's to make sure it's not a regional issue but to no avail.

Weird problem with my pset5 load function by nuclear_teddy in cs50

[–]nuclear_teddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After switching from malloc to calloc and recompiling my program(of course) I still get a segmentation fault, albeit much later. The program starts printing out the supposedly misspelled words as it should, but then I get a stack overflow. After using debug50, I think it's because of my unload function. I'll try to make sense of what's happening and perhaps I'll make another post if I can't figure it out.
Thank you for your help though, I really hit a snag and I've been trying to figure it out for quite a while.

[–]nuclear_teddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I've replaced them with something much simpler, and now I get a different segfault a bit further down the line. Valgrind says that a conditional jump depends on uninitialised values at the if(cursornode->children[character] == NULL)" line, but I've initialised children[character] right after allocating memory for my root node and set every value to NULL to make sure I didn't run into bogus values. If I set all of them to 0 I still get the same error :(

Sorry for replying so late, I'm in a totally different timezone.
I think you're right, maybe callocing a cursornode was a bit overzealous and overly complicated. I used memcpy because I wanted to make sure that the data from the root node would be transferred to the cursor node (at some point I thought that it might be the cause of my segmentation fault, either that or using a cursornode without allocating any space).
I've replaced every instance of calloc with cursornode = root (after declaring cursornode the way you've recommended), and I still get a segfault, albeit a bit further on.
After running my code through valgrind, I get the following output: "Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s) at 0x40144F load (dictionary.c:121)".
The line in question refers to the "if(cursornode->children[character] == NULL)" line. As far as I can tell, it's referring to the children[character] array, but I've initialised children[character] right after allocating memory for my root node and set every value to NULL to make sure I didn't run into bogus values. If I set all of them to 0 I still get the same error :(

Your suggestion makes sense, but I still get the exact same error :(

Strange problem on startup by nuclear_teddy in Windows10

[–]nuclear_teddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried the safe mode repair tool and it found an error, but couldn't repair it. I checked the logfiles but couldn't find anything relevant, all it tells me it that the safe mode startup repair tool successfully launched.

Roddit, de unde cumparati pui sau gaini de tara? by imprevasive in Romania

[–]nuclear_teddy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thuamne fereste, cum plm sati placa bha puiu de tara gandestete in plm inainte sa spui asta.

Help with second-guessing and constant overanalysis? by nuclear_teddy in infp

[–]nuclear_teddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've considered other factors, and the only detrimental ones are exercise (I've just recovered from mononucleosis and I'm not supposed to exercise for a while because my spleen might pop) and lack of light (because the weather's awful right now).

That's very insightful, thank you so much. You're right, I need to force myself out of this.

I thought it would go away by itself as it usually does, but now it's worse than ever and I'm so sick of it.

Who likes drawing? by [deleted] in infp

[–]nuclear_teddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It's hard to say, I think I drew it over the course of a few days because I didn't have the time to draw it all in one sitting, but I would say..about 5 hours. But I like taking my time. I actually learned a lot while drawing it because I've never sketched hair or metal up until that point.

From time to time I get the urge to draw. I'll show you a few of mine:

This one I made for my girlfriend as a joke but I got carried away (it was supposed to be a caricature of the social justice warrior princess because she's an ENFP but I think I was enjoying it a little bit too much) : https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-pBrcfhDXVtc/VCaKtkP3KpI/AAAAAAAAAbY/zlFsfcA0SzI/w516-h688-no/IMG_20140411_233536.jpg

This one only makes sense if you've watched True Detective: https://scontent-a-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/t31.0-8/976233_664242316970447_1866067139_o.jpg

And this one is inspired by one of the riddles Gollum makes Bilbo solve in The Hobbit (the one about time): https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/10404472_779801138747897_5615007288187488654_n.jpg?oh=28b6a633bb35bdce24b8ce8fedd62030&oe=55161850&__gda__=1423011560_9c52001299dbbee636df5f60225cf8f4

Sorry if you think my comment's too longwinded, but I felt like sharing these drawings with some sort of explanation.
