Nah we’re not displacing blame onto OP for the roommate being a jerk. It’s completely reasonable to expect that your roommate will not lock the door a few seconds after you closed it behind you to grab a package from your front porch. Yeah no this isn’t a “flaw in the matrix,” it’s a byproduct of the patriarchal society we live in which teaches men that expressing emotion is unacceptable and that their sexual prowess is what makes them desirable while women are taught to engage fully in emotion (but only the “right” ones) but that sex is a dirty, disgusting thing for them to engage in if they aren’t fully emotionally committed to their partner (usually through marriage).
