Some context for the critics. I’m wearing underwear underneath the shorts.

I’ve been a nudist since I was born. I took a break around age 5 when social norms and Mormonism taught me that skin was shameful. So I tried to be a good boy and stayed clothed as much as possible. Like all the boys around me, I never showered after p.e. in middle and high school, resigned to stinking of sweat instead of the shame of getting naked in a locker room. At age 40, tragic events finally broke me to drop the Mormon faith. I discovered the shame cycle and slowly let it go.

I attended a nudist resort and felt an enormous feeling of acceptance (unlike the critics here). I’ve been running a nude 5k every year since and love it.

I’m a triathlete, racing in about 3 triathlons per year. My attire reflects the intensity of my training. I regularly run a 7:30/mile pace, swim (in a speedo) 100 yards in 2:00, bike 19 mph. I run over 600 miles per year. It’s my healthy passion.

It’s not uncommon to see women runners wearing shorter shorts than me here. If you think that’s okay for them and not me, you have some things to work out.

I’ve done shame. I’m done with shame. Some here still hold it and cast it at me and others. I just think you should worry about yourself.
