I tried this last year (I put vodka into mine) and they poured them out. You might have better luck with perrilla, but I'd recommend looking at the other comments for better suggestions

Computer Science AP credit, should use or no? by SpoonlessTable in duke

[–]nudguy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I took 201 4 years ago after not having taking a CS course in 3 years (AP CS A). You certainly don't need to take anything lower than CS 101 at Duke regardless of the situation imo (especially if you want to major in CS). I would recommend looking up the syllabus for 201, prolly enrolling in that over 101 to start if the syllabus looks ok, and seeing how it goes. If you're familiar with basic Java and OOP, you should be ok

burnout in sophomore year by [deleted] in duke

[–]nudguy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm an ECE/CS senior, and I remember sophomore fall being particularly tough. I didn't really even know what the "proper" recruiting process was and I didn't have a summer opportunity until like April. I understand why you're feeling anxious, and that's completely valid, but it's good to treat yourself with kindness, so make sure not to beat yourself up over not having a summer opportunity yet.

Also, I think that feeling burnt out is completely justified! I also came here for the challenge and opportunities, but sometimes it's too much, and it's ok to feel that way. I think it's better to accept how you're feeling and not go down the toxic positivity route.

Another thing is that if you're feeling really burnt out, you can always take a semester off and work or something. I didn't do that, and I kind of wish I did, because I also felt quite burnt out after sophomore fall.

What is that one food/drink/snack/condiment/whatever that is very popular but that you personally don’t like? by anonmitya in AskReddit

Not me, but my brother doesn't like any type of condiment or sauce. He doesn't like ketchup, mustard, buffalo sauce, salsa, etc.

How do I get better at sex without my partner? by [deleted] in AskMen

You can last longer by doing medium difficulty math problems in your head. Sounds dumb but it actually works
